Stotles alternative, for firms without a bid team.
Let us start where most comparison pages cheat. Stotles ships an AI bid or no-bid report and an AI relevance score. Anyone telling you it is "just alerts" has not read their pricing page. The real difference is shape and economics: their judgment is something you request and it is rationed; ours is pushed on every relevant notice, every morning, skips included.
The short version. Stotles is a public sector platform with a genuinely free plan, unlimited users, a Signal Score, delivery to Slack, Teams, Salesforce and HubSpot, SOC 2 Type II certification, and AI bid or no-bid reports: 3 on the free plan, 15 a month on Growth, unlimited only on Expert. TenderVerdict is one email at 8am that judges every relevant UK and EU notice BID, STRETCH or SKIP against your firm, shows the reasons and lists the skips, at €99 a month or free weekly. If you have a bid team that will work an app all week, Stotles gives them far more to work with. If nobody at your firm has time to open an app, that is us.
At a glance

| Published price | Basic appears as "from £99 / month" and "From £50 / month" on the same pricing page; Capterra lists Basic at £50 per user per month and Growth at £475 a month flat rate | €99 a month; €49 a month for the first 20 accounts; free Monday digest |
| Higher tiers | Bid Studio Growth "from £495 / month"; the combined B2G growth engine "from £873 / month" | None. Pro is the top of the price list |

| Coverage | Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTenders Ireland, eTenders Northern Ireland and TED (OJEU); they state 100+ procurement portals | UK Find a Tender and Contracts Finder in full, EU above threshold via TED, France below threshold via BOAMP |
| How matching works | Signal Score, "our proprietary algorithm that gives every contract a score of 0-3 based on relevancy" | Country and category filter, then a per-notice judgment against your capability profile |
| Bid or no-bid judgment | Yes, an AI report you request: 3 on the free plan, 15 a month on Growth, unlimited only on Expert | Yes, unprompted, on every relevant notice, every morning |
| Shows what it skipped | Not something we can verify from their published material | Yes, every skip listed with its reason, plus an audit line of what was read |
| Delivery | Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, with push to Salesforce or HubSpot | One email at 8am, plus an MCP endpoint for Claude or ChatGPT |
| Data and security | 8M+ tenders and contract awards across 100+ portals, refreshed every two hours; SOC 2 Type II certified | Four official feeds, read daily. No SOC 2 certification |

What Stotles does well
- A free plan that is actually a plan. Tender tracking and alerts, unlimited users, and 3 AI bid or no-bid reports without paying anything. For a firm testing whether public sector work is worth chasing, that is a fair offer.
- Real judgment, not a marketing claim. They ship an AI bid or no-bid report and an AI relevance score. We compete with them on shape, not on whether AI is involved.
- Delivery where your team already is. Email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, plus push to Salesforce or HubSpot. We are email and MCP, and that is a real gap.
- Depth of data. 8M+ tenders and contract awards across 100+ portals, refreshed every two hours. Award history is intelligence a daily email structurally cannot give you.
- SOC 2 Type II. The moment a client sends a security questionnaire, that certification answers questions we cannot yet answer.
Where teams outgrow it, in their own words
Three observations, all from published pages rather than from us using the product.
- The ration, in Stotles' own words. "3 AI Bid / No-bid reports" on free, "15 AI Bid / No-bid reports per month" on Growth, and unlimited only on Expert. If forty relevant notices cross your desk in a month, fifteen reports is a budget you have to spend carefully, and the notices you do not spend it on go unjudged.
- A price you cannot pin down. Basic is quoted "from £99 / month" in one place on their pricing page and "From £50 / month" in the comparison table on the same page, while Capterra lists it at £50 per user per month and Growth at £475 a month flat rate. Per user and flat rate are different animals for a growing team. Get the unit in writing.
- Evidence you cannot lean on yet. Capterra shows 12 reviews averaging 4.8, every one marked "Vendor Referred - Incentive Offered" and all dated between November 2021 and March 2022; the G2 profile is claimed with zero reviews. That is not a complaint about the product. It means there is very little recent independent evidence in either direction, for them or against.
So the honest contrast is not AI against no AI. It is pull against push. Stotles gives a capable team a scored feed and a stock of reports to spend on the tenders they choose to investigate. That works when somebody owns the app. Where it stops working is the firm of six with no bid team, where the app becomes one more tab nobody opens, the report allowance goes unused, and the scored feed quietly turns back into a list.
The question the scored feed leaves open
"What did you throw away, and why?" A score of 0 to 3 ranks; it does not commit. Somebody still decides where to draw the line and which low scores were safe to ignore. TenderVerdict commits on your behalf: every relevant notice gets BID, STRETCH or SKIP with the reason, the skips are listed in the same email as the good news, and an audit line says how many notices we read, how many came from your countries and how many were judged. When we are wrong you can see it in one sentence, and the profile learns.
Pricing, honestly
| Plan | Price as published | Where that figure appears | What it includes | Verified |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| Stotles Basic, first figure | "from £99 / month" | stotles.com/pricing | The paid tracking tier | 6 Sep 2026 |
| Stotles Basic, second figure | "From £50 / month" | The comparison table on the same pricing page | The same tier | 6 Sep 2026 |
| Stotles Basic, third-party listing | £50.00 per user, per month | Capterra listing for Stotles | The same tier, priced per user | 6 Sep 2026 |
| Stotles Growth | £475.00 flat rate, per month | Capterra listing for Stotles | A paid tier priced per account, not per user | 6 Sep 2026 |
| Stotles Bid Studio Growth | "from £495 / month" | stotles.com/pricing | 15 AI bid or no-bid reports a month | 6 Sep 2026 |
| Stotles B2G growth engine | "from £873 / month" | stotles.com/pricing | Both studios together | 6 Sep 2026 |
| TenderVerdict Pro | €99 a month, or €49 for the first 20 accounts, locked for 12 months | This site | Every relevant notice judged each morning, whole firm, cancel from one email | This site |
We are not printing a single Stotles price, because their page does not agree with itself and the unit changes between tiers. Ask them which figure applies, whether it is per user or per account, and how many bid or no-bid reports come with it. Then compare that with €99 a month for a verdict on everything relevant.
Choose Stotles if
- You have a bid team that will work an app all week and spend report allowances deliberately.
- Your team lives in Slack, Teams, Salesforce or HubSpot and wants opportunities pushed there.
- You need contract award data and portal breadth well beyond four official feeds.
- SOC 2 Type II is on your procurement checklist.
- You want unlimited users on a free plan while you test the market.
Choose TenderVerdict if
- You are a 2 to 20 person digital, marketing, software or consultancy firm with nobody whose job is tenders.
- You want a decision on every relevant notice, not a monthly allowance of decisions.
- You want to see what was skipped so you can trust what was not.
- You would rather hand over a domain than tune signal settings and saved searches.
Where TenderVerdict does not fit
We read four official public feeds and judge notices, not tender packs. We hold no award archive and no buyer contacts, we do not draft bid responses, we do not deliver to Slack, Teams or your CRM, we are not SOC 2 certified, and we give no coverage guarantee. Our coverage page and judge page state the edges, including how we fail.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Stotles cost?
There is no single answer and we will not invent one. Their own pricing page quotes Basic at "from £99 / month" in one place and "From £50 / month" in its comparison table. Capterra lists Basic at £50 per user per month and Growth at £475 a month flat rate. Bid Studio Growth starts "from £495 / month" and the combined B2G growth engine "from £873 / month".
Does Stotles have a free plan?
Yes, a genuine one. It includes tender tracking and alerts, supports unlimited users, and includes 3 AI bid or no-bid reports.
Does Stotles tell you whether to bid?
Yes. It ships an AI bid or no-bid report and scores relevance with Signal Score, "our proprietary algorithm that gives every contract a score of 0-3 based on relevancy". The report is requested rather than pushed, and rationed: 3 free, 15 a month on Growth, unlimited only on Expert.
What does Stotles cover?
Sources include Contracts Finder, Find a Tender, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTenders Ireland, eTenders Northern Ireland and TED (OJEU). Stotles states its data covers 100+ procurement portals and 8M+ tenders and contract awards, refreshed every two hours.
Is TenderVerdict a replacement for Stotles?
Not if you use the award data, the Salesforce or HubSpot push, Slack and Teams delivery, or SOC 2 Type II. Those are real and we do not have them. It replaces the morning reading, if what you want is a verdict on every relevant notice rather than a feed to work through.
How long does TenderVerdict take to set up?
Your domain and an email. We read your public website, draft a capability profile, and you correct it. Countries matter most; they decide which tenders you ever see.
