Supply2Gov gives away a tender alert feed and means it: a plan that is free forever, emails every working day, no card. The short version. Supply2Gov is a keyword and CPV alert service for the UK and Republic of Ireland, owned by BiP Solutions, free forever for one postcode area and £25, £80 or £95 a month as you add geography. It has no relevance score and no bid or no-bid judgment anywhere in the product. What Supply2Gov does well
- Free is genuinely free. The Local Area plan is free forever, covers one postcode area, and sends alerts every working day. We cannot beat free, and we will not pretend the tier is a stunt.
- Ireland and CompeteFor. Coverage runs across the UK and the Republic of Ireland and includes CompeteFor supply chain opportunities, which we do not carry.
- Prices you can read without a call. Every tier and its annual equivalent sits on the pricing page, and you move up a country at a time. In this category that openness is unusual.
- A parent with a long record. BiP Solutions, the owner, says it has "more than 35 years" in the market.
Where teams outgrow it, in their own words
Two things recur. We quote them as Supply2Gov's own published text and as reviewer accounts, not as findings of ours.
- The upgrade teaser, in Supply2Gov's words. Matching tenders outside your paid area are shown to you, and their FAQ says "to gain access to these you will be required to upgrade your subscription". How that reads depends on which plan you are on.
- How one reviewer described the same mechanic. "Every alert has zero results within current subscription level but always a number of results in paid for subscription level." (Trustpilot, 16 July 2018, verified review)
- The public rating. Trustpilot shows 3.0 from 81 reviews, with 54% of them at one star. Read the profile rather than our summary of it.
Notice what is not in dispute: keyword and CPV matching does what it says. The gap is not accuracy, it is that a matching notice is not a decision. Somebody still opens each one and asks whether it is actually yours.
The question no alert tool answers
"What did you throw away, and why?" An alert feed shows you the matches. It cannot show you the notices your keyword list never caught, because it does not know they existed. TenderVerdict's brief ends with the skipped tenders, each with a one-line reason, and an audit line saying how many notices we read, how many came from your countries and how many were close enough to judge. When we are wrong you can see it in one sentence, and the profile learns.

On price this is not close and we will not pretend otherwise. You are weighing £0 to £95 a month for notices you read yourself against €99 a month for notices somebody else has read first. One practical note: cancelling an annual or six-month Supply2Gov plan needs written notice by email 14 days before the period ends, so check where you are in your term.

- You bid in the Republic of Ireland or want CompeteFor supply chain opportunities.
- You know your CPV codes and keywords, and keeping that profile tuned is work you are happy to own.

Yes. The Local Area plan is free forever and covers one postcode area, with alerts every working day. Paid plans are £25 a month for a single country, £80 for the UK and £95 for the UK and Republic of Ireland, or £270, £499 and £899 a year.
Does Supply2Gov tell you whether to bid?
No. Matching is keyword and CPV code only, and there is no relevance score and no bid or no-bid judgment anywhere in the product. The reading stays with you.
Why does Supply2Gov show tenders I cannot open?
Matching tenders outside your paid area are shown as a teaser. Their FAQ states that "to gain access to these you will be required to upgrade your subscription". That is their published upgrade path.
Does Supply2Gov cover EU tenders?
No. Coverage is the UK and Republic of Ireland, plus CompeteFor supply chain opportunities, with no EU or TED feed. TenderVerdict reads TED for every EU country above the EU thresholds, plus France below threshold via BOAMP.
How do I cancel Supply2Gov?
Annual and six-month plans require written notice by email 14 days before the period in progress ends. Monthly plans require a minimum of one calendar month's notice. TenderVerdict is monthly and you cancel from one email.
